The Wedding and Honeymoon Photos

A wedding is a start of togetherness... of walks in the rain, basking in the sunshine, shared meals, caring for one another and sensing the love that a marriage carries. The real act of marriage takes place in the heart, not in the ballroom or church or synagogue. It's a choice you make / not just on your wedding day, but over and over again / and that choice is reflected in the way you treat your husband or wife. Tamara and Dwight I hope that the both of you enjoyed watching this blog as much as I enjoyed creating it for you. Both of you will always hold a special place in my heart and Tre and I look forward to a lifelong friendship. xoxox--Tiffany Beck

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.....

This is a good luck saying which dates back to the Victorian era and many brides will try and ensure that they have something of each in their wedding outfit.

Brides have been honoring the tradition of wearing an old, a new, a borrowed and a blue item during their wedding for centuries. Although wearing these items is supposed to symbolise good luck for the bride, they are also just a fun tradition that gives the bride an opportunity to express her admiration for a few special people in her life on her special day.

I think it would mean so much to Tamra if we honored this simple tradition. So ladies, lets go through our things to see what we have to give to Tamra on her special day. Keep in mind that you do not have to purchase anything unless you feel the need to do so, and Tamra will return the items back to you if necessary. Let's keep this a secret until "the big day." This would be a great time to give her your item and share a few words of wisdom, encouragement, and love.

The Proposal.....

Most little girls dream of the day their Prince Charming will come and sweep them off of their feet. We can visualize every detail from the proposal down to the Vera Wang wedding dress-well, maybe the Vera Wang wedding dress was just my thing, but you get the point. Nevertheless, Tamra got her fairytale, her Prince Charming, her knight in shining armor, her "Big Daddy." Here's how it happened in the words of Tamra herself...

"On July 30th 2008, Dwight and I were working and he deliberately, throughout the day was making me upset and so on, so he decided to leave work early on me. As I was sitting at my desk contemplating breaking up with him, he was off for the rest of the day. He went to Kay's and picked out my ring, so at the end of the day he came to get me. We got home, and of course I wanted to talk about what happened at work and so on, so he started asking me questions about how much I loved him; again we were in that circle of how we should hold each others hands and walk this road together. During the conversation he upset me once again, and right when I thought I was through, he got down on one knee and showed me a box and with tears in his eyes, he asked me to marry him, after that I forgot about everything we were arguing about cause he deliberately made me mad too see how much I can stand being his wife."

It was everything she had ever dreamed of and more! This is a day that she will never forget and story that she will never get tired of telling. Both Dwight and Tamra realized that this marked the end of a courtship and the beginning of an unbreakable union.

The date is set! March 6, 2009 will be the day Tamra and Dwight say "I do." They'll be tying the knot at the Harris County Courthouse on Cypresswood Dr. We've all been waiting so long for this day. I'm sure their hearts are filled with anticipation and excitement of getting married. However, the best part will be the party which will take place later on that night. So lets all get ready to boogy on down, toast up, and share this wonderful day with Tamra and Dwight. Stay tuned for more updates. Smooches....tnb.

The beginning:

Ok. So, I know everyone wants to know how it all happend. Well, here it is. They were introduced by Shondra (the little sis) in the breakroom at IKON on April 18, 2007. Tamra was ACTING shy-face blushed, and her heart was beating fast. Could this be love at first sight? The next day, August 19, Tamra began training Dwight. Little did he know, he was sitting next to his future wife! The flirting began, and Tamra soon had Dwight in the palm of her hand (now that's what I'm talking about). After many conversations and looks of passion, they finally deceided to make it official on May 18, 2007. From then on, it's been a rollercoaster ride full of love, happiness, a few tears tears, passion, and extreme bliss.

Can this really be happening?

Wow! I honestly have to say that I'm honored to be host this blog for Tamra and Dwight. There's so much that they would like to share with the world, and I figured this is the best way to let everyone know what's going on with the wedding plans on a daily basis! Tamra and Dwight. What else can I say? Their love is infectious. If you've ever had the chance to go out with them, you'd know what I mean! This is going to be the wedding of the year, so make sure you save this blog to your favs and check back periodically for updates.
